Reporting to the Director of Food and Beverage, the Food and Beverage Manager is responsible to oversee the day to day operations at the following locations:
Mavor’s Bistro and Bar
Mavor’s Café (Founders' Hall)
and The MacKenzie Theatre.
Duties:
Promote and Develop Customer Service Excellence
Interview and Selection of Food Preparation and Service Personnel
Staff Orientation and Training
Prepare Staff Training Sessions and Workshops
Prepare Employee Payroll Forms and Time Sheets
Food, Beverage and Labor Cost Controls
Inventory Control Management
Assist in the Preparation of Departmental Budgets and Forecasts
Prepare nightly deposits and other Banking Procedures
Participate in Department Meetings and Planning Sessions
Handle Customer Complaints and Concerns
Provide a Safe and Sanitary Environment for Staff and Patons
Provide assistance to the Catering Department and Functions, as required.
