This show presents the striking large-scale sculptural and 2-dimensional work of Nova Scotia artist Colleen Wolstenholme. A selection of preparatory and related pieces accompanies the exhibition, demonstrating the range and internal logic of the artist’s spatial and visual constructions. Wolstenholme’s work playfully interweaves artistic convention and highly-charged imagery culled from advertising and the media, often with disturbing and challenging results.
