See a show, make a difference: Bring a food donation when you see The British Invasion at the Charlottetown Festival

The Charlottetown Festival is now collecting non-perishable food items for the Upper Room Food Bank at all performances of The British Invasion: A Musical Revue.

The summer months are often the most difficult for food banks, and unfortunately the Upper Room is no exception. Their supply level is currently only half of that of July 2006, and demand usually increases in August. Last year, the Upper Room supplied 431 households in July and 490 in August.

Patrons can place their donations in the collection bin in the lower foyer. The Charlottetown Festival thanks their donors – Islanders and visitors alike – in advance for participating in this simple way to give back to the community.
