Set aside your snow shovels and grab tickets to see Chuck & Albert’s rare winter performance as part of the Confederation Centre of the Arts’ PEI Presents line-up. Chuck & Albert know the art of total entertainment. Multi-instrumentalists, great physical comics, and fluently bilingual, this Acadian duo returns to PEI February 23 for two performances.
“We’re really excited to get the chance to come back and play at the Confederation Centre,” Chuck Arsenault says. The pair is currently touring BC and Alberta and have issued a ‘Winter Laughter Advisory for PEI’ in anticipation of their return to the Island. “We’re glad we have a matinee show so that families can come out, as well as an evening show when you can leave the kids at home. Two totally different shows!”
“We are giving people a chance to shake off the winter blues!” he adds. Their performances bring to life an energetic blend of visual humour and quick wit combined with the upbeat foot-stomping music and dance of their indigenous PEI Acadian roots.
Both Chuck & Albert shows are February 23 at The Mack Theatre. Tickets for the 2 pm matinee are $10. Tickets for the 8 pm show are $15. The evening show is licensed, 19+.
