Charlottetown – The circus is coming to town! PEI Presents the world-famous Moscow Circus with its colourful new production, A Russian Folk Fair, on the Mainstage March 7 and 8.
Russian folk musicians, singers, dancers, human puppets, contortionists and acrobats will take over the Confederation Centre of the Arts. The show combines drama, cultural history, and, most of all, the excitement and entertainment created by some of the greatest circus performers on earth. With its ornate costumes and backdrops, A Russian Folk Fair is based on centuries-old Russian traditions and fables, and narrated by a mythical Russian character "Fair Hostess.” A spectacular show for all ages!
