Charlottetown – Due to unfortunate circumstances, the Backyardigans Live show scheduled for 4 p.m. today on the Confederation Centre of the Arts Mainstage is being postponed. The performers are stuck on the ferry M.V. Caribou that is unable to dock at the North Sydney terminal due to ice in the harbour. The ferry has been waiting to dock since noon Tuesday.
For people fortunate enough to have purchased tickets for this sold out show, PEI Presents staff ask that they hold on to those tickets as they will be honoured for the Backyardigans show once a new date is announced. Full refunds will be available for people not able to attend the new date.
The Confederation Centre hopes to announce a new date for The Backyardigans Live within the next few days.
