Charlottetown – The Fringe is mixing it up this year with new show times and multiple venues for the second annual fringe festival as part of this summer’s Charlottetown Festival.
The Fringe runs Wednesday, August 27 to Sunday, August 31 at the Confederation Centre of the Arts.
This year’s lineup features some favourites from last year as well as many new artists. On Thursday, August 28, there will be a late-night show starting at 10:30 in the Studio Theatre. Friday, August 29, look for the Fringe at another venue still to be announced.
The Fringe will feature performances by Marlene Handrahan, last year’s favourite Catherine O’Brien, the dance umbrella performance group, Sketch 22 and many more.
The five day festival features all original works, showcasing emerging works in theatre, film, spoken word and movement from across the country. Check out The Fringe blog at www.charlottetownfringe.wordpress.com
