Charlottetown – Labrador City songstress Damhnait Doyle teams up with New Brunswick’s David Myles for an evening of music that will have everyone singing their praises. The Confederation Centre of the Arts features the pair on the Mainstage October 30 as part of the new season of PEI Presents. Both artists have new albums that have the critics raving.
Doyle’s latest CD, Lights Down Low, is a showcase of her vocal talent and songwriting skills. The new CD plays with rhythms and arrangements that honour proven hits with fresh perspectives. She describes the album as a quirky collection of songs from favourite artists which crosses genres and generations.
David Myles’ creativity, vocal versatility and musical dexterity have critics across the country hailing his virtues. His new CD, On the Line, is a stylish blend of jazz, blues, gospel, pop and folk influences.
