PEI Presents triumphant play about autismCharlottetown – An East coast play confronting the challenges of autism takes centre stage at the Confederation Centre of the Arts on November 1. An evocative parable of crashing into the unknown and accepting the unknowable, God’s Middle Name is a compelling tale of one mother’s journey through the uncharted territory of raising an autistic child.

The Ottawa Citizen declares the play is “a splendid, triumphant piece of theatre.”

God's Middle Name provides a glimpse at the challenges and joys of parenting a child with autism. The playwright, Jennifer Overton, writes from the heart about her firsthand experience in raising her son; every day occurrences are anything but commonplace, and the reward of a hug is a success worth cheering for from the rooftop.

God’s Middle Name plays Saturday, November 1 at 8 p.m. on the Mainstage.

Tickets are $26 / $28 / $30. Tickets are available at the Confederation Centre’s box office at 566-1267 or 1-800-565-0278 or online at www.peipresents.com. Visit the website for a complete list of the PEI Presents schedule.
