Charlottetown – The hottest ticket on PEI this holiday season is now a little easier to get. The Confederation Centre of the Arts staff has announced the addition of three more performances of Canada Rocks Christmas in December.
“With almost half the tickets for the four week run already sold, we decided to add Wednesday nights to the mix in December. We want everyone to have the chance to enjoy this new production that brings back to the stage one of our favourite shows,” says David MacKenzie, CEO of the Confederation Centre of the Arts.
Canada Rocks Christmas opens November 27 with shows Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights through December 20 and Wednesday shows December 3, 10 and 17.
Also announced today is the special appearance of the Confederation Centre Youth Chorus joining Canada Rocks Christmas for two nights. December 12 and 13 the Chorus will appear at the opening of Act II to join in the Huron Carol and a selection of other songs.
Canada Rocks Christmas plays on the Mainstage at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. Tickets are $30 and are available at the box office at 566-1267, toll free at 1-800-565-0278, or online at www.peipresents.com.
