Get your hands dirty with art class for grown ups

Charlottetown – The Confederation Centre Art Gallery is offering a new course for adults to learn a variety of arts skills. Beginning in the new year, participants in the Exploring Media class will have the opportunity to explore a range of mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, and more.

In each class, participants will try their hands at a new media or technique, exploring both traditional and contemporary approaches to art making. The series of ten classes will run Tuesday and Thursday nights from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. beginning January 13th in the Schurman Family Studio at the Confederation Centre of the Arts.

The class is open to people ages 16 and up, and the cost for the ten classes is $125.

For more information about this and other Confederation Centre Art Gallery programs, please contact 628-6111 or confederationcentre.com, or visit the website at www.confederationcentre.com.
