Classic Albums Live bringing the Eagles to Charlottetown

Charlottetown – The popular Classic Albums Live group brings their act The Eagles: Hotel California to the Confederation Centre of the Arts this month. Classic Albums Live is a band of top Canadian musicians who recreate note for note, cut for cut the best-selling rock albums in history.

“It’s all about the music,” says the Toronto Sun about the make up of the Classic Albums Live band. The Eagles released Hotel California late in 1976. It was their fifth album of original material and became a critical success and a commercial hit. Hotel California is one of the top 15 best-selling albums of all time in any category, selling more than 16 million copies in the US alone.

Iconic songs from the album include New Kid in Town, Life in the Fast Lane, Victim of Love and the title anthem. In the second half of the show, the band performs other classic Eagles songs from their entire song list.

Classic Albums Live, The Eagles: Hotel California, Friday, January 30 at 8 pm on the Mainstage. Tickets are $35 and are available at the Confederation Centre’s box office or at 566-1267, toll free at 1-800-565-0278, or online at www.peipresents.com.
