Charlottetown PE – You are invited to take part in the second annual summer Gallery Crawl in downtown Charlottetown Friday, June 12 starting at 4 p.m. The Confederation Centre Art Gallery is coordinating this evening of gallery “hopping” for art enthusiasts.
The crawl begins at the Showcase Gift Shop at the Confederation Centre, and Ampersand on Water Street. Participating galleries also include: Gallery @ the Guild, Walker Studios, Christine Trainor Studios/John Cox Studio/Gail Hodder Jewellery Designs, Details Past and Present, and the Pilar Shephard Art Gallery. The last stop of the Crawl is the Confederation Centre Art Gallery at 7:00 p.m. and coincides with its Gala Opening for the summer exhibitions. The general public is welcome to attend this free event featuring art, live music and refreshments.
The Gallery Crawl is a great occasion to mingle with friends and also a wonderful opportunity to see the breadth of media and styles as well as experience what Charlottetown’s cultural community has to offer.
