Charlottetown – Sketch-22 returns for a sixth season of all new comedy material July 10 at The Mack Theatre. One of the biggest changes this season is the group's inclusion in the 2009 Charlottetown Festival.
"We couldn't be more thrilled. The Mack is one of the Island's finest stages," says producer Jason Rogerson. "To be able to present our unique brand of comedy in this venue as part of The Charlottetown Festival's 2009 summer line-up is a dream come true."
Continuing to explore the Island way of life through original and satirical live sketches and videos, the group sees to it that nothing is sacred. Whether it is a sketch exploring the mating rituals of early cavemen, Island jingles, pompous Victorian inventors, or just the hardships of being a giant, season six is poised to be Sketch-22's most varied and outrageous season yet.
Sketch-22 plays Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30 at The Mack, starting July 10. For tickets, visit www.confederationcentre.com. This show contains explicit material. For more information, visit www.sketch22.ca.
