Charlottetown – The 2009 Confederation Centre Young Company celebrates Canada Day with the opening performance of their new show, Abegweit: The Soul of the Island, at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. The opening gets underway at 11:45 a.m. with a special one hour performance.
This year’s Young Company is made up of 16 Islanders and celebrates the history and culture of PEI. Their free performances are at noon in the outdoor amphitheatre of the Confederation Centre every Monday through Saturday until August 22.
