Step into the Roaring 20s for an evening of pure indulgence, glam and glitter at this year’s Behind the Red Velvet. Ladies get your flapper dresses out and gents grab your fedoras, for this one of a kind fundraiser gala that will take place March 6 at the Confederation Centre of the Arts.
The evening begins backstage in the Mawson Rehearsal Hall with a prohibition-era Speakeasy. The password is Model T but make sure you don’t tell anyone suspicious; we wouldn’t want the authorities crashing the party! Guests will then enjoy an extravagant culinary experience on the Homburg Theatre stage. After the dinner & live auction you can put on the dancing shoes and dance the night away at the Cotton Club with musical guests Joey Kitson and The Doggone Blues Band.

Seating is limited and last year sold out. To purchase your tickets, please contact Monique Witzell by calling (902) 629-1168 or e-mailing confederationcentre.com. Tickets are $175 per person or $2,000 for a Gangster table of eight (a tax receipt will be issued for a portion of the ticket price). Funds raised support youth programming at the Confederation Centre.
