August 17: Grand Dérangement refers to the expulsion of the Acadians but the name also alludes to the Nova Scotia group wanting to rouse its audience. Their music is exciting, their show is a visual feast, and their highly poetic songs defy the audience to sit still. The bow fires up the fiddle…the sparks fly!
