Welcome to the 2010 Charlottetown Festival

There is more to see at the 2010 Charlottetown Festival! The best of Broadway graces our stages as we present ‘The World’s Most Successful Rock ‘n’ Roll Musical’ - Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. We also have one of the stage’s most acclaimed musicals, the winner of 8 Tony Awards, Hairspray.

The best Canadian works are front and centre at The Charlottetown Festival again: Anne of Green Gables-The Musical™ opens for its 46th consecutive year. Canada’s top playwrights bring us their Sexy Laundry and take us to The Last Resort.

The Charlottetown Festival proudly showcases Prince Edward Island talent with a return to Abegweit: The Soul of the Island, the Young Company production featured at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games. A new theatrical training camp debuts with the Island Children's Theatre and its feature production Peter and the Wolf.  The Island Standup Showcase makes its debut at The Mack bringing late night comedy to the stage.

The finest in French entertainment comes to the Festival in 2010 with BAM! a percussion and humour trio from Quebec, singer-songwriter Mario Robichaud, and an energetic dance party with Glamour Puss!
