By Leslie Arden and Norm Foster
Music, mirth, mayhem and murder are rampant at a remote lodge in rural Saskatchewan in this uproarious romp. The Last Resort is where you want to be, especially if you have a secret. Everyone has something to hide in this madcap mystery – a restaurateur on the run from the mob, a carpet salesman killing more than time, a poet seeking inspiration (and a shallow affair) and twins battling over daddy’s will.

Trent Balfour He’s quite self-important. According to him, he’s a very important poet, a brilliant writer and quite a ladies’ man. He’s very elitist and perceived as pretentious. | Mr. Pomerantz He lives for his job. He is willing to go to any lengths to get the result he wants.
|
Jessica Youngstead She’s the bad twin and proud of her badness. She does not adore her sister. She’s conniving, and in her mind is completely justified in everything she does.
|

Nick Galeazzo He has mob connections in New York. He’s in witness protection because he witnessed a murder that he may or may not have committed. He’s suspicious of everyone. He’s somewhat of a womanizer.
| Angela Miller She’s a tough cookie. She doesn’t take any guff from anyone. She’s a pro. Does she have something to hide?
|
Sid Barzini He owns five carpet stores and is known as a carpet baron. He’s at the resort at his wife’s demand. He really doesn’t want to be there.
|
Liz Barzini She’s trying to reignite the flame in a 24 year marriage. She feels middle age makes her invisible. She’s an empty-nester with time to kill.
| Inspector Closely He’s a renowned RCMP officer in the vein of all the great detectives. He always gets his man (he says with a chuckle.)
| Julia Youngstead She’s the good twin. Is she too good to be true? She’s perky, she’s optimistic, and she adores her sister.
