Toronto Dance Theatre
A dance for the twenty-first century, Christopher House’s Timecode Break is about time, presence and the ephemeral beauty of the body. Choreographed simultaneously for stage and screen, it integrates razor-sharp dancing with gorgeous video images to create a brave new kinetic landscape. Timecode Break is a technical tour-de-force, with Toronto Dance Theatre’s dancers pushed to the edge in lightning-fast unison, fierce counterpoint and powerful solos. They dance in partnership with their digital selves in a seamless choreography of control and abandon.
Don’t miss this innovative feast for the senses!
