Music PEI Week kicks off January 20th and culminates with the Music PEI Gala Awards Show at the Confederation Centre of the Arts on Saturday January 23rd.

This will mark the 9th annual Music PEI Awards Show which shines a light on the best musical talent that PEI has to offer each year. The show is all about the music with performances by 12 of the nominees and features both veteran performers and new emerging artists. Our artists have been gaining recognition across Canada including wins this year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards, 25 nominations by Island artists at the 2010 ECMA’s and multiple tours by many Island artists across Canada and some into Europe. This is our annual opportunity to recognise those achievements and excellence.
