The Children’s Chorus has been a source of musical education and enjoyment for choristers and audiences alike for over 30 years. Island children, aged 8-18 years, perform Christmas and spring concerts on the Mainstage each year as well as other performances for community events. For Chorus members, the highlight of the programme is their annual out-of-province tour, which gives them the opportunity to travel and gain valuable performance experience in new venues.
Registration for the Children’s Chorus takes place annually in September, October, and January for boys and girls, aged 8-14, who love to sing; want to develop their musical skills; would like the benefits of a music experience which will last a lifetime; and want to be part of this dynamic organization.
