Sobeys LIVE @ The Centre launches 2012-13 season at Confederation CentreSeptember 13, 2012(Charlottetown) - This autumn, winter and spring the finest entertainment on Prince Edward Island is live at Confederation Centre of the Arts. From early fall to the spring thaw a world of magic, comedy, dance, rock, musical theatre, choral music and more is all live with 35 different shows on four splendid stages - The Homburg Theatre, The Mack, the Kirk of St. James and Trinity United Church. This remarkable line-up includes Canadian rock warriors The Trews delivering their acclaimed acoustic show at The Homburg Theatre; three separate roots nights from national folk icons Matt Andersen, Old Man Luedecke and Rose Cousins; ten Christmastime performances of the charming musical Wizard of Oz; and three concerts from rock n' roll purists Classic Albums Live executing select works of the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd and David Bowie in their original glory.
