A partnership between Holland College and Confederation Centre of the Arts, the School of Performing Arts offers aspiring performers two-year diploma programs in contemporary Music Performance and Dance Performance, as well as a one-year Performing Arts Foundation certificate program.
Prince Edward Island has a rich tradition in the performing arts. From music to dance to theatre, the province has excellent youth programming, which produces artists eager to start professional careers. Until now, the regional options for post-secondary professional training to provide fledgling artists with a strong foundation upon which to build their careers have been scarce.
The programs of the School of Performing Arts draw on the strengths of Confederation Centre of the Arts and Holland College to provide students with a strong foundation in their field, as well as in the business aspects of their chosen profession.
