  • Snapshots: Documenting Our Lives

Don't miss this chance to learn from local photographer Anna Karpinski in this workshop that responds to the Gallery's exhibition Snapshots of Armageddon: Jack Turner and the Great War. The workshop will look at photographers who have documented life around them—their families, friends, streets, local events. Each class will explore the techniques and approaches of a master documentary photographer; an assignment will be given each week to put the techniques into practice. Students will share their images and discuss the challenges and solutions to doing documentary photography today. Tuesdays and Thursdays, March 1-24 from 6-9 p.m. Cost is $100, for ages 18+
